Privacy statement
1. Who processes your data?
The operator identified above is responsible for processing personal data for this website and rental administration. Use the listed contact details for privacy questions and requests about your data.
2. What personal data do we process?
Registration or a booking request collects your full name (first name and last name) and email address. A host or administrator may also assign an account role. We process your phone number and country when added to your profile or by an authorised host, and a profile photo if uploaded. A password, when set, is stored as a hash. We also process account and verification details, booking details (stay dates, accommodation, guest count, extras), payment references and status, correspondence and technical session data such as IP address and browser information. Evidence of acceptance includes the account reference, time, language, document version, a copy of the documents, the form used and, where applicable, the user identified through a password link or signed-in session. Registration uses a single full-name field rather than separate first-name and last-name fields.
3. Why do we process this data?
We use your data for personal contact and administration: managing your account, answering questions, processing and confirming bookings, and tracking payments. Data needed for your request or stay is processed to prepare or perform a contract. Legally required administration is based on that legal obligation. Security and evidence of agreements serve our legitimate interest in reliable services, taking your interests into account. Required fields are necessary to process your account or request. Optional profile information need not be supplied. Accepting the terms is not blanket consent to data processing or advertising.
4. How long do we keep data?
There is no predetermined, uniform retention period. We retain personal data for as long as necessary for personal contact, account management and administration of requests and stays. The period depends on the ongoing relationship, outstanding bookings or payments, disputes and statutory retention obligations. Data must not be kept longer than necessary for those purposes. You may request deletion; data still needed for legal obligations or resolving a dispute may be kept longer.
5. Who receives data?
Authorised hosts and administrators have access for contact and administration. Hosting, email and payment service providers process data to operate the service, including Mollie for payments. Payment information entered directly with a payment provider is also covered by its privacy information. Where a booking is synchronised with an external reservation channel, the booking information needed for that purpose is exchanged. Contact us for information about service providers, any transfers outside the European Economic Area and the applicable safeguards.
6. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data where provided by law. You may object to processing based on a legitimate interest. Contact us using the details above; we may ask for information to establish your identity. You can also complain to the CNIL in France or the competent supervisory authority in your country. The current notice is always accessible through the application.
